About This Data
All climate data comes from the Open-Meteo Historical Weather API, sourced from official weather station networks and reanalysis models across Australia. The dataset includes 213 cities and towns with complete 2024 annual data. For each location, you'll find monthly average temperatures, total rainfall, rainy day frequency, solar radiation, humidity levels, and our comfort score. The comfort metric synthesises temperature, humidity, rainfall, and sunshine to rate each month from 1 to 10, where higher scores indicate more pleasant conditions. This helps you quickly identify the best time to visit any Australian destination.
